The "Love Bandit", John & Wanda’s bitchin’ 1940 Chevy coupe.
Power steering, power brakes, 400 turbo tranny, Camero rear end, Mustang II
front end, Vintage Air and Posie springs make this a smooth ride. Powered by a
355 stuffed with a new 350 HP cam ..... move over into the
slow lane LDN.

"Casper",
Keith & Carla Jone's 1957 Nomad. The recent recipient of
a "heart & lung" transplant (a 350 small block with a 5-speed
tranny). Last winter it received a rear chassis by welder Tony Fenice.
This past winter Keith and John installed a new wiring harness, and Keith hopes to
slip in a 456 gear if time permits. Update: Today
(7-29-01) he installed the 456 rear end and left a patch of rubber in front of
Dick's Brake & Muffler. Keith also returned from the Goodguys meet with a dual quad manifold with a pair of AFB's
attached!

Keith recently horse traded Larry out of this 1967 El Camino. This 327
factory 4 speed was once a lethal 5.0 Mustang killer until Larry spun a rod
bearing. Now powered by a 350 small block with a tad less power, Keith is
thinking about dropping in a 454.
Larry, Kathleen and Andrea’s
new '65 Chevy SS convertible. Dr. Bill slipped in a crate 350 engine along
with a 350 tranny last year. Larry has been busy getting on a first name basis
with all the after market Chevy suppliers ordering new chrome, glass and other
misc. pieces making this a very clean ride.

Bob "Bobs Nuts" Holland
and his 1940 Ford coupe. Very clean, very black and very quick with its LT1 350.
Watch out for Bob coming around the inside curves at 110 MPH! Recently rewired
and fitted with a pair of T-Bird bucket seats and a fresh interior by Bob Evans.

Mike’s cherry ‘63 four speed, split window, fuel injected Corvette. In
storage for the last 19 years, Mike finally came out of his coma and decided to
rebuild the engine along with a lot of other goodies to get this bad boy back on
the road. Currently under the care of Dr. Bill, this project will be one very
cool and very fast ride.
Dr.
Bill's 1957 four-door sport sedan. According to Nurse Paula, 90% of the body was
delivered one piece at a time by UPS. The Doctor reports that it will have a 327
bored .030 over, a 350 HP cam, and 202 heads fed by a 4 BBL carb until the
Tri-Power gets bolted on. Tranny is going to be a 350 turbo linked to the stock
rear end. Updates include power steering, power disc brakes on 2 inch dropped
spindles, and a vintage air unit to make sure the Doctor stays COOL. Minor body
mods are shaved hood & trunk emblems and a rear bumper from a station wagon.
Dr. Bill has kept the chrome shop busy replating all the chrome and stainless in
addition to window frames, garnish moldings, dash housing and more. Body will be
"Wilson" black with a light gray cloth interior. We hope to see this
‘57 at James Dean next year.

Elmer & Karen's new ride,
"Big Red". This 56 Ford is stuffed with a Chevy 454 big block
(seems like all the Ford guys use Chevy blocks). This is a very straight,
very clean and very RED truck.

Phil
& Linda's "Misty Blue". A cherry 69 Buick Skylark with
34,000 original miles! Phil somehow traded a 52 Chevy for this
beauty. Powered by a 350, Phil & Linda cruise in comfort with the AC
turned on high.
Mike
& Kathy's mini Nomad. "Beep Beep" is a 1960 Rambler American
'Special' powered by the original 196 C.I. flathead six! Sporting a set
of 5 spoke wheels this is a cute little cruiser.

Doug's very clean and straight
'40 Ford coupe. Doug took a rough body and turned it into a beautiful
car. Powered by a small block 327, this is a pristine ride with the
exception of the exhaust system..... it is too QUIET! Hopefully Keith or
Larry will be able to remedy this situation sometime this year. Doug also
has a '48 Ford pickup that he hopes to finish before he's to old to squeeze the
trigger on his paint gun.

Hopefully we'll soon have
